If we leave, do we keep our data and admin access?
Yes — unequivocally. Your data and accounts are yours, and we aim for a clean, professional handover to you or your new provider so you keep both your data and your administrative access. This is a matter of principle for us, not something to be negotiated.
What you keep
- Your data — email, files, everything that belongs to your business.
- Administrative access to your Microsoft 365 tenant, domains and systems.
- Ownership of your accounts and licences, transferred cleanly to you or your new provider.
Why we handle it this way
Some IT providers effectively hold businesses hostage — sitting on credentials, controlling domains you should own, or making it painful to leave — as a way to force clients to stay. We think that's the wrong way to run a business, and frankly it's how you destroy a reputation. Over 25 years, our name in Perth has been built on doing right by clients, including the ones who move on. A clean exit is part of that.
The practical detail
Any genuinely out-of-scope transition work you specifically ask us to do — extensive migrations or hands-on handover tasks — is quoted separately, as any project would be. But a reasonable, cooperative offboarding is handled without exit fees, and your data and access always remain yours.
