Contracts, billing & leaving

How much notice do I need to give to cancel?

One month's notice ends a managed IT agreement — no long lock-in, no drawn-out exit, no penalty for a reasonable departure. We keep this deliberately simple because we'd rather retain your business through good service than through a contract you can't escape.

How cancelling works

Give us a month's notice and we'll wind the service down cooperatively over that period. There's nothing adversarial about it — a clean, professional exit is part of how a 25-year local reputation is built and kept.

The one thing to plan around

If you have any unused prepaid support hours, note that they aren't refunded — so it's genuinely worth using your remaining balance on useful work before you go, rather than leaving value on the table.

Your data and access are yours

Cancelling doesn't put your business at risk. Your data and accounts belong to you, and we aim for a clean handover to you or your new provider so you keep both your data and your administrative access — see what happens to your data and access if you leave. Any genuinely out-of-scope transition work is quoted separately, but a reasonable offboarding is handled cooperatively and without exit fees. If you have questions about leaving, just ask — call (08) 9325 1196.
