IT Support Perth is the trading name of Computer Mechanics, a locally owned managed IT services provider based in Perth since 1997. We currently support more than 250 small and medium Western Australian businesses across managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud services and disaster recovery. All our engineers are based in Perth — no offshore helpdesks.

Computer Mechanics started in 1997 and has been continuously trading in Perth ever since — over 25 years. We've supported clients through every major shift in business IT, from the move to Windows Server, the rise of broadband, the Microsoft 365 / cloud transition, and now the AI-enhanced era.

Our typical client is a small or medium Perth business with 5–100 staff — professional services firms (legal, accounting, consulting), healthcare and allied health practices, construction and trades, manufacturing, retail and hospitality. We work across most industries except very large enterprise (200+ staff) and very specialised verticals like banks or hospitals.

Are your engineers based in Perth?

Yes — every engineer who'll touch your environment is based in Perth, employed by us directly, and works during normal Perth business hours. We don't outsource the helpdesk to overseas providers. After-hours emergencies for managed clients are covered by our on-call engineers, also based in Perth.

Our engineers hold current Microsoft certifications across Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows Server. We're partners with Microsoft, Synnex, Veeam, Acronis, Ingram Micro, Webroot and Leader Computers, which gives us direct vendor support escalation, partner pricing and access to early-access tools for our clients.

Remote support is available statewide for clients in regional WA.
