Contracts, billing & leaving

Are there exit or offboarding fees if we leave?

For a reasonable, straightforward offboarding, there are no exit fees. We genuinely want customers to leave happy, even if they're moving on — because a business that leaves on good terms often comes back, and always speaks well of you in a city the size of Perth.

What a normal handover includes at no charge

  • Handing over the accounts and access that are rightfully yours.
  • Reasonable cooperation with your new provider.
  • A professional, cooperative wind-down over your notice period.

The one exception: genuinely out-of-scope work

If, during the transition, you ask us to do something significant and out of the ordinary — extensive access handovers, hands-on data-migration tasks, or project-scale work to move you across — we'll quote and bill that fairly, exactly as we would any project. That's not an exit fee; it's simply charging for real, additional work you've asked us to perform. We'll always tell you clearly in advance what's included and what would be extra.

No holding businesses hostage

Some providers make leaving deliberately painful — sitting on credentials, withholding data, or charging punitive "release" fees. We don't work that way. Your data and admin access are yours, and a normal handover isn't charged. We'd rather you remember us well. If you have questions about how leaving would work, call (08) 9325 1196.
