What if we have more devices than employees?

Our base pricing is per user, but if you run more devices than staff, we apply a small per-device add-on to cover the extra work those devices create. This is common and completely straightforward — we just want the price to reflect the actual management effort involved.

Why extra devices cost a little more to manage

Every machine — whether or not a specific person "owns" it — still needs to be looked after:

  • Monitoring for faults, performance and security issues.
  • Patching and updates to stay secure and supported.
  • Security controls — endpoint protection, encryption, compliance.
  • Support when it goes wrong.

A shared workstation, a reception kiosk, a warehouse terminal or a second laptop is real, ongoing work regardless of how many people use it — so the add-on covers that overhead fairly.

Typical situations where this applies

  • Retail or hospitality with shared point-of-sale or back-office machines.
  • Workshops, warehouses or clinics with shared terminals.
  • Staff who each use both a desktop and a laptop, or a dedicated site machine.
